Belle @ Rainbow Bridge

I met you 14 years ago when I was 6. You stole my happy meal on our first day and when I made an angry face at you, you tackled me and licked my face. You have been my best friend and my sister ever since. I’m sorry I couldn’t save you like you saved me but you’re going to see your beagle parents again and that’s pretty cool. You can be with them until I meet you at the rainbow bridge.

When we meet again, you can run up to me like you used to and I promise I won’t ever let you go again. You’ll always be my thunder buddy and I will always love you to infinity and beyond. Sweet dreams beautiful and thank you for the memories 😘

I am a father, a husband and a dog owner. Like many of you, I love my pets and they are treated as family members. On saying that, if you ask my wife, the order is dogs, daughter and then me but hey, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I write about pet ownership with a slant towards pet loss. Whilst that may sound incredibly depressing to some, I want to focus more on why our pets are so important, the effect they have on our lives and the wonderful memories they create for us. I have been a qualified hypnotherapist since 1999 hence the many references to self-hypnosis as a method of dealing with the pain of pet loss. I know this works so I hope you will give it a try.
